Ultrathin iPod Touch 5 coming in at only 6.1mm

After a whole year of waiting, the much-anticipated iPod touch 5g was officially launched by Apple following the release of iPhone 5 and iPod nano 7 in Apple’s launch event. Just like its iPhone 5 counterparts, the all new 5th generation iPod Touch features a 4-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and an 1136 x 640 resolution. Beside sporting the dual-core A5 Chip like iPad 2, iPod touch 5 also has an updated 5-megapixel iSight camera with a hybrid IR filter, a five-element lens, and a fast f/2.4 aperture. It’s worth noting that the new model of iPod Touch now has a LED flash, panorama mode, and 1080p video with image stabilization and face detection. In addition, the front camera is now upgraded to a backside illuminated 720p camera. Starting from $299, iPod Touch 5 will be shipped in 32GB and 64GB, and will be no longer available in 16GB. http://www.ipodtouch5thgeneration.info/released/
